HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Randleman High School for coach Jake Smith … Earned all-conference and all-county honors as a junior after hitting .408 with 17 extra-base hits (1 HR), 36 RBI and 51 runs scored … Also took home the state championship sportsmanship award … Led Tigers to a 27-6 record and a spot in the state championship game.
