AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Named to the NCCSIA All-State and PBC All-Academic teams ... Garnered the D2 Academic Achievement Award … A member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... As a midfielder, he played and started in 16 games to record 1038 minutes on the field … Finished the season with 11 points as he notched four goals and three assists … Recorded his first goal of the season in the seventh minute of the 3-1 win over Newberry for the game-winning goal … Logged his second goal of the season in the 31st minute of the 3-0 shutout victory over Georgia Southwestern … Added another game-winning goal in the third minute and added an assist to Sam Miles’s goal in the up-set victory over Lander … Put in his final goal in the 11th minute to deliver the win for UNCP over USC Aiken … Notched one assist in the contest against Barton, Lander and Anderson … Took 27 shots, 15 of which (.556) were on goal … Registered a season-high five shots against Newberry and four against Georgia Southwestern and North Georgia … Recorded a season-high 90 minutes in the win over Mars Hill and the loss to Young Harris … UNCP skyrocketed to No. 15 in the national rankings for the second time in the Phil Hindson era after starting the season with a 5-1-0 record … During the season, the Braves shutout then-No. 3 Lander to mark one of the biggest wins in school history from a rankings standpoint.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012)

A member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... As a midfielder, he played in 19 games with 14 starts to his credit to record 1163 minutes on the field … Finished the season with eight points as he notched three goals and two assists … Recorded his first goal of the season in the 80th minute of the 3-1 victory over Wingate … Garnered another goal in the 13th minute and two assists to teammates Sean Hoek and Martin Tomter in the 6-0 shutout victory against Barton … Scored UNCP’s game-winning goal in the 50th minute in the 2-1 conference victory against Francis Marion … Took 32 shots, 17 of which (.531) were on goal … Registered a season-high five shots against Pfeiffer and four shots against Barton and Francis Marion … Recorded 100 minutes in the standstill contest with Mars Hill … Contributed to this season’s school record in number of goals in a single game (10) and largest margin of victory (10) against Chowan, and minimum shots allowed in a game (3) against Barton … Helped UNCP rank fourth in save percentage (0.861), ninth in shutout percentage (0.53), 12th in team goals against average (0.72), 18th in total assists (39) and 25th in scoring offense (2.26) in the nation … Contributed to the squad matching its third-best finish in 20 years (NCAA Division II era) with 12 wins … Helped the Braves make history in 2012 as they advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament for the first time in 10 years.

Prepped at Salpausselka Upper Secondary School … Garnered a 3.5 cumulative grade point average … Played club soccer for FC Hameenlinna in 2012, FC Reipas in 2011, FC Lahti from 2010-2011 and FC Kuusysi in the second division … While playing for the national team in Finland, he made two appearances on the U-19 team in 2011, four appearances on the U-18 team in 2010, eight appearances on the U-17 team in 2009, six appearances on the U-16 team in 2008 and four appearances on the U-15 team in 2007.
