HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at North Lenoir High School for coach Donell Garris … Earned all-state and second-straight all-conference nods as a senior after hitting .537 with nine extra-base hits (1 HR), 21 RBI and 26 runs scored … Also picked up conference player of the year recognition … Hit .386 as a junior for the Hawks … Also lettered in basketball and cross country at North Lenoir High School.

PERSONAL: The son of Wendy and Randy Jackson … Has two brothers, Rand and Noah, and two sisters, Emma and Leah … Maintained a 4.6 cumulative grade point average at North Lenoir High School and graduated sixth in his 200-member senior class … An accounting major at UNCP.
