AS A FRESHMAN (2015): Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year … Finished 8th with a time of 27:13.13 in his collegiate debut at the USC Upstate Eye Opener (8K) … Registered a 20th place tally with a mark of 27:32.9 at the North Georgia Invitational (8K) … Finished 39th (25:51.7) at the Royals Challenge (8K) … Logged a 48th place finish at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships (10K) with a time of 35:35.5.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Fred T. Foard High School under coach Steven Crowe … Lettered in cross country and track and field … As a senior, he ran personal best 5K in a time of 16:27 and the two mile in a time of 9:43 … Named conference champion and won one of his races, as well as grabbing two second-place finishes … In his junior campaign, he was named Most Valuable Runner and placed first in the Northwest Conference, while assisting the team in becoming conference and county champions along with qualifying for the state meet … Named freshman of the year and VIP for three-consecutive years.

PERSONAL: The son of Kym and Allen Bauguess … Has one sister, Guenieve … Ranked 95th out of his 225-member senior class and currently holds a 3.75 grade point average … Undecided on his course of study at UNCP.
