Began his collegiate career with the Braves while competing at the UNCW/Adidas Seahawk Invitational where he posted a 17:31.27 5K for a 38th place finish overall … Ran a 28:35 8K at the ECU Pirates Invitational on Sept. 19 where he placed seventh with the Black and Gold and 23rd overall … Brought home a 95th place finish at the Great American Cross Country Invitational with a 28:31 8K and a 14th place finish at the Mount Olive Invitational on Oct. 9 to finish out his season with a 29:29.06 8K.

High School
Two-year letterman for coach Prince Castell at Knightdale High School … Named most dedicated in 2008 … Ran a 5K personal best of 17:02 in 2007 while also leading the Knights to an undefeated season (8-0).
