Finished as the fifth runner for the Braves at the NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships, he set a personal best time of the 34:31.1 in the 10K for a 65th place finish … Crossed the finish line in 29th at the Peach Belt Conference Championships with a time of 28:23.19 in the 8K as the fifth place finisher for the Braves … Registered a new personal best in the 8K at the Charlotte Invitational with a time of 28:19.15 (182nd) for the fifth best finish for the Black and Gold … Captured a 100th place finish at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic for a time of 28:54.56 in the 8K.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Nash Central High School under Coach Brian Winham … Four-year letterman in cross country and track, and was a three-year letterman in indoor track … Four-time all-conference, three-time all-region and 2008 State Champion Runner-Up … Registered a personal-record in the 5K with a time of 16:34 during his senior year … The team placed first in the Big East Conference, first in the East Region and fourth in the state meet during the 2009 and 2010 seasons … In track, he posted a personal-best in 1,600m and 800m with times of 4:42 and 2:02, respectively … Ranked second in conference and third in the region in his senior year, and fifth in the conference and 13th in the region in his junior campaign.
