AS A JUNIOR (2016): Competed in two events … Finished 36th (20:20) at the Elon Opener … Crossed in 65th place (27:55.65) at the Furman Cross Country Classic.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015): All-Peach Belt Conference … USTFCCCA All-Academic Team … PBC Presidential Honor Roll … PBC All-Academic Team … Finished 14th with a time of 27:15.0 at the North Georgia Invitational (8K) … Grabbed a 92nd place tally (26:35.3) at the Royals Challenge (8K) … Secured all-PBC status with a time of 27:00.4 (14th) at the conference championships (8K) … Closed out season with a 10K time of 35:34.1 and a 47th place finish at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014): PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... Ran his personal best time in the 8K at the Sand Shark Invitational where he placed 111th with a time of 27:19.86 to help the Braves to a fifth place finish … At the Peach Belt Conference Championships, he ran a time of 27:55.30 for a 64th place finish as the UNCP men’s team placed second … Competed in his first cross country race at the Queens Twilight Invitational where he helped the team become race champion with a 27th place finish and a personal best time in the 5K (16:58.7) … Captured a top-15 finish at the Bulldog Cross Country Invitational as he ran a time of 29:03.47 for a 15th place finish and a team champion honor … Registered a 38th place finish with a time of 27:19.8 at the Charlotte Cross Country Invitational in which the Braves captured third place … At the Royals Cross Country Challenge, he logged a 52nd place finish as he crossed the finish line in a time of 27:42.3.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Hopewell High School under coach Michelle Lapointe … A four-year letterman in cross country and track and field … As a senior, he ran his personal best 5K in a time of 16:47.96 … Garnered all-conference laurels and was named team MVP for back-to-back years … Competed in the 1000m run (2:42.36), 1600m (4:33.78) and 3200m (10:15.22) in indoor track … Set the indoor school record in the 1600m run … Also competed in the 800m (2:07), 1600m (4:40) and 3200 (10:27) as a junior … Ran a time of 17:08 in the 5K in his junior campaign … Placed 10th at the NCHSAAA 4A Indoor State Championships in the 1600m as a senior … Placed third at the conference championships as the final leg of the 4x800m relay as a junior.

PERSONAL: The son of Barbara and Baxter Nash … Has two sisters, Annie and Naomi … Ranked 18th out of his 362-member senior class and graduated with a 4.54 weighted grade point average … A member of DECA, NTHS and Young Life ... Was a junior marshall … An exercise science major at UNCP.
