Attended Mercyhurst under the direction of coach Dale White … Named a 2014 PSAC Scholar-Athlete, 2014 Mercyhurst Scholar-Athlete and 2013 Mercyhurst Scholar-Athlete … Played in three contests in 2014 … Saw action in seven contests in 2013 and a pair of assists and one shot on goal … Redshirted in 2012 … As a freshman in 2011, he played in 15 games with 12 starts to his credit, while also posting four shots including one on goal … Helped the team to a 19-3-0 record in 2014, 17-5-1 clip in 2013, 17-6-1 mark in 2012 and 10-8-0 record in 2011 …  Accumulated a 73.5 winning percentage (63-22-2) over his four years for the Lakers, while also making the NCAA Tournament in 2011 (Second Round), 2012 (Semifinals), 2013 (Quarterfinals) and 2013 (Third Round).

Prepped at St. Pauls Community College … Played for Waterford United and started all 10 games in the U-20 league … Wan an Irish schools International Trialist in 2009-10 and 2010-11 ... Named Waterford Schoolboy U16 Player of the Year and U16 All-Ireland Finalist in 2010.

The son of Helen and Jim Barry … Has a younger sister, Jennifer … Graduated with a bachelor's degree from Mercyhurst and will be seeking his master's degree in physical education at UNCP.
