AS A JUNIOR (2013)
Named to the PBC All-Academic team and a member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll … As a defender, he played and started in 16 games to record 1422 minutes on the field … Took one shot this season against Flagler … Assisted in holding Mars Hill, Georgia Southwestern and Mount Olive to 10 or less shots during the game … Helped UNCP post six shutouts during the season over Mars Hill, Georgia Southwestern, Barton, Montevallo, Lander and Mount Olive … Assisted UNCP in goals-against average (1.32) and allowed 23 goals this season … The defense held opponents to a .090 shot percentage … Recorded a season-high 110 minutes in the standstill with North Georgia following 109 minutes in the loss to Anderson … UNCP skyrocketed to No. 15 in the national rankings for the second time in the Phil Hindson era after starting the season with a 5-1-0 record … During the season, the Braves shutout then-No. 3 Lander to mark one of the biggest wins in school history from a rankings standpoint.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2012)
Named to the PBC All-Tournament team and was a member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll … As a defender, he played in 18 games with 18 starts to his credit to record 1638 minutes on the field … Took two shots, one of which (.500) was on goal … Registered one shot each against Young Harris and Mars Hill in the second round of the NCAA Tournament … Assisted in holding Mount Olive, Wingate, Georgia Southwestern, Barton and Pfeiffer to less than 10 shots during the game … Helped UNCP post 10 shutouts during the season … UNCP was second in the PBC in goals-against average (0.72) and only allowed 14 goals which was also second in the league … The defense held opponents to a .051 shot percentage … Recorded 110 minutes in the standstill contest with Mars Hill and in the loss to Flagler in the second round of the NCAA Tournament … Contributed to this season’s school record in number of goals in a single game (10) and largest margin of victory (10) against Chowan, and minimum shots allowed in a game (3) against Barton … Helped UNCP rank fourth in save percentage (0.861), ninth in shutout percentage (0.53), 12th in team goals against average (0.72), 18th in total assists (39) and 25th in scoring offense (2.26) in the nation … Contributed to the squad matching its third-best finish in 20 years (NCAA Division II era) with 12 wins … Helped the Braves make history in 2012 as they advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Regional Tournament for the first time in 10 years.
AS A FRESHMAN (2011)
As a defender, he played in 17 games with 12 starts to his credit to record 1,273 minutes … Finished the season with one point on one assist … Took two shots, one of which (.500) was on goal … Posted his only assist of the season in the game-winning goal which was scored by teammate, Stuart Rodgers … Notched one shot against Mount Olive and Francis Marion … Contributed to this season’s school record in number of goals in a single game in a season against Chowan … Helped UNCP rank 19th in scoring offense (2.39), 22nd in total goals (43), 17th in team goals against average (0.8), 35th in shutout percentage (0.39), 34th in W-L-T percentage (.667) and 34th in save percentage (0.805) in the nation … A member of the squad that earned the PBC Team Sportsmanship Award.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Jacksonville High School under Coach Dave Miller … Letter in soccer while achieving accolades including academic all-American, all-south, all-state, all-region, all-conference, and All-Area Defensive Player of the Year in his senior year … Tallied one goal and one assist as a member of the 25-3-1 Cardinal team … During his junior year, he registered one goal and one assist as well as grabbing all-state, all-region, all-conference, and All-Area Defensive Player of the Year awards … Played club soccer for the OCSA Coastal Crew under Coach Cam Ornsby … Score three goals and was a member of the Keptner Cup State Championship team.
