AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
Ran a personal best time in the 800m run at the CCU Shamrock Invitational with a time of 2:11.97 for a 34th place finish, while also placing 15th in the 400m dash (52.62 seconds) … Placed 18th in the 400m dash at the PBC Championships with a time of 51.86 seconds … Notched a season best time in the 200m dash (9th, 23.12 seconds) and in the 400m dash (5th, 50.69 seconds) … At the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, he ran the 200m dash (20th, 26.63 seconds) and the 400m dash (21st, 53.82 seconds) … Also competed in the 400m dash at the Wofford College Terrier Relays (20th, 52.25 seconds) and at the Raleigh Relays (138th, 52.83 seconds) … At the USC Gamecock Invitational, he finished 22nd in the 55m dash (7.04 seconds) and eighth in the 800m run (2:15.65) … Captured a 28th and 21st place finish in the 200m dash (24.20 seconds) and the 400m dash (54.26 seconds), respectively, in the Tar Heel Open … Was the final leg of the 4x100m relay (43.62 seconds) that finished third and the second leg of the 4x400m relay that won the event with a time of 3:24.49 at the CCU Chanticleer Classic … Began the first leg of the 4x400m relay at the PBC Championships (6th, 3:25.80), the Tar Heel Open (11th, 3:35.50) and the Wofford College Terrier Relays (5th, 3:26.90) … Was the second leg of the 4x400m relay (4th, 3:27.36) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, the final leg of the 4x400m relay (18th, 3:31.70) at the CCU Shamrock Invitational and the second leg of the sprint medley (5th, 3:49.33) at the Wofford College Terrier Relays.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013)
Captured a 12th place finish in the 400m dash preliminaries with a time of 51.02 seconds at the PBC Championships … Was the lead leg of the 4x400m relay that crossed the finish line with a fourth place finish at the PBC Championships for a season best time of 3:18.65 seconds in the event … Ran a personal best time of 50.25 seconds for a sixth place finish in the 400m dash at the CCU Chanticleer Classic, while also notching a 12th place finish in the 200m dash with a time of 23.67 seconds … Ran the opening leg of the 4x400m relay that logged a first place finish with a time of 3:38.08 at the CCU Chanticleer Classic … Posted another personal best time in the 200m dash at the CCU Shamrock Invitational with a time of 22.97 seconds for a 63rd place finish along with a 59th place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 52.12 seconds and was the first leg of the 4x400m relay (11th, 3:20.53) … Placed 10th and 14th in the 400m dash (51.34 seconds) and the 200m dash (22.97 seconds), respectively, at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, while also running the third leg of the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:29.88 for an overall fourth place finish … At the Weems Baskin Invitational, he ran in the 200m dash (33rd, 23.66 seconds), the 400m dash (20th, 52.92 seconds) and the 4x400m relay as the first leg (11th, 3:37.28) … Also competed at the Raleigh Relays in the 400m dash with a time of 50.52 seconds for a 79th place finish … Assisted the Braves in finishing second by a mere four points at the inaugural PBC Championships.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Athens Drive High School for coach Jeff Liles and Ron Wheeler … As a senior, he won the Coaches Award and was a team captain for a team that won the Jaguar Invitational for the first time in school history … Ran the 400m dash in 50 seconds, posted a mark of 42’2” in the triple jump and was a member of the 4x400m relay team that placed fifth at regionals … In his junior year he was awarded the coaches award and was a member of the 4x400m relay that broke the school record with a time of 3:26 … Ran 52 seconds in the 400m dash, and placed ninth in the 4A NCHSAA Indoor State Championship Meet in the triple jump with a distance of 42’4” … Helped the 4x400m relay team place third at regionals and 13th at the state meet.
