AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Garnered a spot on the Peach Belt Conference Honor Roll (Bronze Scholar) … Regional champion in the discus throw with his second-best mark of the season (40.46m) and in the hammer throw with his third-best mark of the season (46.36m) along with a fifth place finish in the shot put (12.77m) at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Meet … Collected a personal best in the hammer throw at the Duke Twilight with a throw of 52.08m for a fifth place finish as well as a fifth place finish (47.45m) for his second best finish of the season in the hammer throw at the CCU Chanticleer Classic … While also at the CCU Chanticleer Classic , he finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 13.00m and fourth in the discus throw with a mark of 39.85m … At the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, he captured a new personal best in the shot put for an overall ninth place finish with a mark of 13.10m and a season-best in the discus for a sixth place finish with a mark of 41.07m … Also place seventh in the hammer throw at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational with a throw of 41.89m … Recorded 6-of-10 top-10 finishes in the shot put, 6-of-7 top-10 finishes in the hammer throw and 5-of-6 top-10 finishes in the discus throw … In indoor track, he posted his personal best in the weight throw at the UNC Invitational with a mark of 14.45m for a ninth place finish and another personal record in the shot put with a mark of 12.28m at the VMI Winter for another ninth place finish … At the Lynchburg College Classic, he competed in the shot put (5th, 12.79m), the hammer throw (4th, 44.91m) and the discus throw (3rd, 39.86m) … Posted a third place finish in the hammer throw (40.05m) and two fourth place finishes in the discus throw (33.65m) and the shot put (10.95m) at the PowerSox Invitational. 

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Placed first and set a new personal record in the discus with a mark of 41.77m at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships … Set a new personal record in the shot put with a throw of 11.92m and in the hammer throw with a throw of 40.66m at the Shamrock Invitational … Placed second at the Johnson C. Smith Invitational in the discus throw with a measurement of 39.47m while placing 11th in the shot put with a throw of 11.22m … Finished fifth in the shot put with a  throw of 11.16m at the Braves Track and Field Classic … Placed 11th at the Charlotte Invitational in the shot put with a mark of 11.73m, 12th in the discus (35.12m) and 12th in the hammer throw (36.67m) … Finished eighth in the hammer throw (38.48m), 10th in the discus (40.33m) and 20th in the shot put (10.30m) at the UNCW/Seahawk Invitational … Competed in indoor track placing first in the discus at the Savannah State Eye Opener with a throw of 35.66m while placing eighth in the shot put.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Had an impressive first season of collegiate competition, finishing second at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championship with a 38.87m toss on the discus, third in the hammer with a 37.45m personal best and seventh in the shot put with a personal best of 11.54m … Placed second at the Braves Track and Field Classic with a 36.40m mark in the discus, sixth in the hammer (31.76m) and 12th in the shot put (9.89m) … Placed sixth in the discus on three occasions, at the Lynchburg Classic (with a personal best of 39.63m), at the Duke Twilight meet (39.40.) and the Savannah State Eye Opener (36.57m) … Placed eighth at the Liberty Invitational in the discus with a 39.23m mark, 12th in the hammer throw with a 30.92m stick and 16th in the shot put with a 10.52m toss … At the International Friendship and Freedom Games, placed 11th in the discus and 15th in the shot put with tosses of 35.58m and 11.07m, respectively … Finished 16th in the shot put at the Lynchburg Classic with a 10.72m toss … Competed in the Coastal Carolina Shamrock Invitational with a 34.98m mark in the discus to place 21st.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Was a four-year letterman for Brian Aldridge at East Duplin High School … Threw a personal best of 144’0 in the discus his senior year … Placed fifth in state and was awarded most outstanding field athlete …Also lettered in football (3) and basketball (2) while earning numerous awards in football.

PERSONAL
The son of James and Jaqueline Davis has one brother, Shawn … Majoring in sports and exercise science at UNCP.
