Prepped at Cuthbertson High School under coach Ivan Jean-Marie … Lettered in track and field … A two-time all-conference runner in his junior and senior years … Named conference champion as a senior and assisted his team to becoming region champions in his junior campaign … Ran the 300m dash (36.83 seconds), 400m dash (50.97 seconds), 500m dash (1:06.8) and 800m run (1:56.34) as a senior which he improved on from his junior year.
