AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
All-PBC in the shot put … USTFCCCA All-Region in the shot put … Clinched a runner-up finish in the shot put for a personal best mark of 14.00m at the PBC Championships and placed seventh in the discus with a throw of 34.24m and seventh in the hammer throw with a distance of 41.90m to score points for the Braves … Notched a personal best in the hammer throw at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational with a mark of 42.01m to place seventh , while he also finished 11th in the discus throw with a throw of 34.69m and eighth in the shot put with a distance of 12.74m … At the JDL College Kick-Off Classic, he posted personal bests in the weight throw (8th, 14.23m) and in the indoor shot put (6th, 13.97m) … Had a season best mark in the discus throw at the VertKlasse Meeting where he placed 32nd overall with a throw of 35.32m, 18th in the hammer throw (39.43m) and 17th in the shot put (13.44m) … Finished inside the top-10 at the Dennis Craddock Carolina Relays in the shot put (6th, 13.02m), hammer throw (6th, 38.39m) and discus throw (9th, 34.62m) … Competed in the discus throw (17th, 31.27m), hammer throw (13th, 34.95m) and shot put (8th, 13.17m) at the Aggie Invitational … Placed fifth in the weight throw (13.83m) and eighth in the indoor shot put (13.43m) at the UCS Invitational … Also competed in the shot put at the App State Outdoor Open (9th, 13.99m) and Hilton Garden Invitational (16th, 13.24m).

AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Named to the PBC All-Sportsmanship team …  Notched a personal best in the discus throw with a mark of 39.20m for a ninth place finish and in the hammer throw with a throw of 39.32m for an eighth place finish at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, while also finishing seventh in the shot put with a mark of 13.21m … At the PBC Championship, he competed in the discus throw (8th, 36.05m), the hammer throw (7th, 38.24m) and the shot put (4th, 13.66m) to score eight points for the Braves … Registered a personal best in the shot put at the CCU Chanticleer Classic with a distance of 13.79m for a fourth place finish, while also competing in the discus throw (6th, 37.18m) and the hammer throw (10th, 38.60m) … At the Wofford College Terrier Relays, he placed 12th in the discus throw (37.83m), 14th in the hammer throw (35.52m) and 11th in the shot put (12.80m) … Took home a fifth place finish in the weight throw (13.97m) and 12th in the shot put (11.89m) at the USC Gamecock Invitational … At the Tar Heel Open, he threw a mark of 12.09m in the weight throw (16th) and 13.38m in the shot put (6th) … Threw the shot put a distance of 13.25m for a 21st place finish at the CCU Shamrock Invitational, as well as a distance of 35.08m in the discus throw for a 33rd place finish.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Southern Alamance High School under coach Cecilio Mitchell … A three-year letterman in the track & field and two-year letterman in football … As a senior, he threw a personal best of 133-feet 10-inches in the discus and a school record throw of 48-feet 11.5-inches in the shot put … In the shot put, he was named all-county, conference champion, fourth at regionals and 11th at the state championships … Also placed third in the conference in the discus … Assisted the Patriots in placing second at the county meet and conference championships … During his junior campaign, he threw the discus 123-feet 5-inches and the shot put 40-feet 10-inches … Named honorable mention in football, most outstanding offensive lineman and Super Patriot Award for lettering in three sports.

PERSONAL
The son of Julie and Lee Perry … Has an older sister, Jessica … Ranked 98th out of his 299-member senior class with a cumulative 3.36 grade point average … A member of the A/B Honor Roll, Project Unify Club and Future Farmers of America … Was  Special Olympics Volunteer, youth (K-8) football camp counselor and youth (K-8) track and field camp counselor … A health and physical education major at UNCP.
