HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Pickerington North High School under coach David Spring … Lettered in track and field, wrestling and football … As a senior, he competed in the high jump (6-2) … Assisted the team in becoming conference, district and regional champions, as well as state runner-ups for two-consecutive years … Cleared 6-3 as a junior in the high jump … As an unattached athlete under the direction of coach George Dial, he finished fifth in the state and seventh in the regional meet in the high jump … Also was the MVP in wrestling and a state honorable mention.

PERSONAL
The son of Diane Poellintz and George Dial … Has three brothers, Bruce, Blake and Anthony … Graduated with a 3.0 grade point average and in the top half of his class … A member of the honor roll, Spanish Club, Technology Club, SADD Club (president), JSA Club, Debate Team and was a mentor for at-risk youth … A business major at UNCP.
