Named to the USTFCCCA All-Region Team as a member of the 4x100m relay team and for the 200m and 400m dashes ... Set a new school record in the indoor 400m dash at the JDL Fast Track College Invitational with a time of 50.26 seconds on Feb. 11 for a 10th place finish, while also running the indoor 200m dash in a personal best time of 22.92 seconds for a 13th place finish … Captured a personal best time in the 200m dash (21.75 seconds) to win the race at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships, as well as a first place finish in the 400m dash with a time of 48.38 seconds, a first place finish for the 4x100m relay team (41.42 seconds) and a second place finish in the 4x400m relay (3:21.95) for the best time of the season to help the Braves finish third overall in the meet … Provisionally qualified with the 4x100m relay team at the Johnson C. AS A SOPHOMORE (2011)
Registered a slew of personal bests this season including at the CCU Chanticleer Classic in the 100m dash with a time of 11.23 seconds for a sixth place finish and in the 400m dash with a time of 50.03 seconds for a fourth place finish … Posted a personal record in the 200m dash at the CCU Shamrock Invitational with a time of 22.37 seconds for a 31st place finish and the 400m dash with a time of 50.24 seconds for a 17th place finish as well as running the third leg of the 4x200m with a time of 1:32.14 … A member of the 4x400m relay team that rallied back from a 1.5 point deficit to help the Braves take first place honors at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Championships with a time of 3:17.51 … Also ran the 200m dash (8th, 22.67 seconds) and the 800m dash (8th, 1:58.78) … Ran the 100m dash (24th, 11.28 seconds) at the Highlander Invitational and the 200m dash (12th, 22.49 seconds) and the 800m dash (10th, 1:59.76) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational … In indoor track, he added three new personal bests in the 400m dash (3rd, 52.94 seconds) at the VMI Winter Relays, the 500m dash (4th, 1:07.45) at the Liberty Open and the 800m dash (8th, 2:02.61) at the Dick Taylor UNC Invitational … Competed in the 4x400m relay as the fourth leg at the Lynchburg College Classic (3:21.50) and the VMI Winter Relays (3:37.74).
AS A FRESHMAN (2010)
Competed in the 4x400m relay placing first at Savannah State Eye Opener with a time of 3:28.76 and at the Braves Track and Field Classic with a time 3:28.11 … Set a new personal record in the 400m dash at the Shamrock Invitational with a 30th place finish marking a time of 50.82 seconds as well as a personal best in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:57.26 at the Charlotte Invitational … Finished second in the 800m dash at the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals and Braves Track and Field Classic with a time of 1:58.67 and 2:00.76, respectively … Competed at the UNF Invitational in the 400m dash (15th, 51.25 seconds), the 1500m run (4:24.10) and second leg of the 4x400m relay (3:23.00) … Competed at the UNCW/Seahawk Invitational in the 800m run (12th, 2:02.40), the 1500m run (21st, 4:24.21) and the second leg of the 4x400m relay (6th, 3:24.75) … Finished second as the second leg of the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:24.54 at the Charlotte Invite as well as ninth as the fourth leg of the 4x400m relay at Weems Baskin Invitational with a time of 3:29.25 … Competed in indoor track at the Vince Brown Invitational in the 800m run (21st, 2:04.47) and in the 800m run (6th, 2:05.71) and 1500m run (15th, 4:30.84) at the Savannah State Eye Opener.
HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered at South View High School under coach Jesse Autry … Member of the first team all-conference for efforts in the 400m dash and 4x400m relay while also third team all-region in the 800m and teal all-region in the 4x800m and earning status as a member of the third team all-state 4x800m event … During his senior year, led the Tigers to their eighth straight conference championship holding times in the 800m (1:58.3), 500m (1:07.4), 400m (49.67), 300m (36.9) and 200m (22.8).
