Placed first at the Braves Track and Field Class in the 110m hurdles with a time of 15.43 seconds and second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.14 seconds … Recorded a personal-best while placing forth in the 110m hurdles and 400m hurdles with a time of 15.32 seconds and 57.42 seconds, respectively, at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational … Competed at the Lynchburg Classic as a member of the 4x100m “B” Relay as the first leg to help earn an overall time of 43.39 seconds as well as a member of the 4x400m Relay as the seconds leg for an overall time of 3:24.29 to earn a second place finish … Also competed in the 110m hurdles claiming a second place finish with a time of 15.70 seconds.

HIGH SCHOOL
Ran four years for coach Robert Thompson at West Iredell High School being named team captain and team MVP in 2007 and 2008 ... Was a four-time regional qualifier, and a state qualifier his senior year for the Warriors ... Earned all-conference and all-country team honors his final two years at West Iredell ... Was the 2008 regional champion in the 110 high hurdles and the runner up in the 300 hurdles ... Placed fifth at state in the 110 high hurdles ... Also competed for the Salisbury Speeders (AAU) coached by Tim Dunlap.

PERSONAL
The son of Mark and Beverly Barber ... Has four older sisters Obony, Chelle, Markia and Marlene ... Was introduced to track by sister Markia ... A mass communication major at UNCP.
