AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Clinched a pair of personal bests at the Aggie Invitational with a 30th place finish in the 100m dash in a time of 11.15 seconds and a 15th place finish in the triple jump with a distance of 12.84m, while also competing in the long jump (25th, 5.78m) … Had a personal best leap in the long jump with a distance of 6.53m for a 12th place finish at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational along with a 26th place finish in the 100m dash (11.71 seconds) … At the VertKlasse Meeting, he competed in the 100m dash (24th, 11.30 seconds), long jump (32nd, 5.63m) and triple jump (14th, 11.65m) … Finished 12th in the long jump at the PBC Championships with a mark of 6.25m and 15th in the 100m dash with a time of 11.35 seconds … Also recorded a 15th place finish in the indoor long jump with a jump of 6.49m … Was the second leg of the 4x400m relay team that placed eighth at the PBC Championships in a time of 3:27.64, lead leg at the Aggie Invitational (7th, 3:29.95), second leg at the UCS Invitational (13th, 3:37.08) and final leg at the VertKlasse Meeting (19th, 3:37.87).

AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Ran a personal best time in the 100m dash for a 17th place finish as he crossed the finish line in a time of 11.63 seconds, also placed ninth in the long jump with a mark of 6.47m, was the third leg of the 4x100m relay that placed third with a time of 43.34 seconds and was the lead leg of the 4x400m relay (8th, 3:42.29) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational … Notched two personal bests at the USC Gamecock Invitational in the 55m dash (13th, 6.82 seconds) and in the long jump (3rd, 6.68m), and was the final leg of the 4x400m relay that place first (3:49.11) … Was the second leg of the 4x400m relay at the Tar Heel Open (17th, 3:42.36).

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Phillip O. Berry Academy of Technology under coach Rudolph Brown … A four-year letterman in track and field … As a senior, he was named all-conference and all-state, while also posting a personal best mark of 21-feet 7-inches in the long jump … Was a regional long jump champion and Queen City Relays Champion in the long jump and triple jump … Placed third in the 4x200m relay team at regionals and the squad became conference runner-ups … During his junior campaign, he posted a mark of 21-feet 9-inches in the long jump and 43-feet 4-inches in the triple jump … Ranked in the Top-5 in the indoor long and triple jumps … Garnered  all-conference and all-state laurels, while assisting the team to back-to-back appearances at the state championships and becoming conference and regional champions … Was a North Carolina Elite Student Athlete, indoor runner-up in the long jump, placed third in the triple jump, named conference field MVP, triple jump champion and third in the conference in the long jump … Also ran for the University City Youth Niners under coach Tulani Vaughn … Was a triple jump and long jump national qualifier and runner up, while placing third in the triple jump and district runner-up in the long jump … Posted a mar of 21-feet 5-inces in the long jump, 43-feet 3-inches in the triple jump and a time of 10.9 seconds in the 100m dash.

PERSONAL
The son of Kimberly Zimmerman … Has two sisters, Daryn and Micalyne … Ranked 71st our of his 289-member senior class with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average … A member of YBM Leadership Alliance Top 100 Black Men, math Honor society, new yearbook club, UNCC NC-MSEN College Program, Special Olympics, Lupus Walk, Crop Walk and Urban Ministries …  Had academic honors in NTHS and NHS, while also being a NAF Cohort and Order of the a Cardinal … A computer science major at UNCP.
