AS A FRESHMAN (2015)
Clinched a sixth place finish in the discus throw at the Dennis Craddock Carolina Relays with a personal best throw of 40.26m, while also finishing seventh in the hammer throw with a mark of 37.50m and seventh in the shot put with a distance of 12.62m for a personal best mark … Posted a fourth place finish in the shot put at the PBC Championships with a distance of 12.59m and 10th place finish in the hammer throw with a throw of 37.54m … Recorded a fifth place finish in the discus throw at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational with a distance of 39.16m and 10th place finish in the shot put (12.21m) … Had a personal best in the hammer throw at the VertKlasse Meeting with a throw of 38.29m for a 20th place finish, while also competing in the discus throw (24th, 38.46m) and shot put (27th, 12.08m) … At the JDL College Kick-Off Classic, he had personal bests in the indoor shot put (15th, 13.53m) and weight throw (18th, 10.18m) … Also competed in the shot put (14th, 12.14m) and weight throw (11th, 10.06m) at the UCS Invitational.

Prepped at Concord High School under coach Bryson … Lettered in track and field … As a senior, he was named to the all-county team … Threw the shot put 43-0 and the discus 133-3.

The son of Patricia and Horace Stainback … Has one younger brother, Gabriel, and two younger sisters, Prince and Mahalia … Ranked 73rd out of his 273-member senior class with a 3.5 grade point average … A member of NTHS … A biology major at UNCP.
