HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Overhills High School under coach Rodney Barr as a senior and Wendy Vance in his junior year … Lettered in indoor and outdoor track and field along with basketball … As a senior, he competed in the 300m dash (36.14 seconds), 400m dash (49.44 seconds), 500m dash (1:06.90) and was on the 4x400m relay team (3:21) … Ran on the 4x200m relay team, 4x400m relay team and competed in the 500m dash at state meet where the 4x200m relay team finished second and he placed 11th in the 500m dash … In his junior campaign, he placed 10th at the state meet in the 500m dash and fifth in the 4x400m relay … Named indoor track MVP and all-state, while also qualifying for the state meet in the 400m dash, 500m dash and 4x100m relay … Named to the football all-conference team in back-to-back years.
