Prepped at Overhills High School under coaches Barr and Vance as a senior and coaches Munoz and Vance in his junior season … Lettered in track and field and football … As a senior, he ran a season best time of 10.9 seconds in the 100m dash and 22.17 seconds in the 200m dash … Became conference champion in the 100m and 200m dashes in his junior year as the team were conference champions in the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay … Competed in the 100m dash (10.83 seconds) and 200m dash (22.1 seconds).

The son of Nekita and Steve Miller … Has three sisters, Selena, Soylayia and Brittney … Ranked in the top-third of his senior class and graduated with a 3.35 grade point average … Undecided in his course of study at UNCP.
