HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Western Harnett High School under coach Eric Blackwell … Lettered in football and track and field … As a senior, he competed in the 110m hurdles (14.9 seconds) and the 300m hurdles (40.54 seconds) … Won four gold medals at conference, three silver medals at the regional meet and a trio of ribbons at the 3A state championships … In his junior campaign, he was conference champion in both the 110m hurdles and 300m hurdles, while placing second in both at the regional meet and becoming a state qualifier.

PERSONAL 
The son of Cheri and Connell Elmore … Has three brothers, Connell Jr., Darrin and Marcus, and one sister, Jacquelynn … Graduated with a 3.1 grade point average … Received the highest grade in English … Was a member of the beta club, JROTC, honor guard and color guard … An exercise science major at UNCP.
