Prepped at East Davidson High School under coach Amanda Akins … Lettered in softball, cross country and basketball … In her junior campaign, she assisted the team to a 17-7 clip as well as conference and tournament championships … Named Central Carolina All-County, all-district, all-conference, all-state, MVP and Central Carolina Conference Player of the Year … Tallied a .900 batting average in conference play along with a .917 on-base percentage … Also during her junior year, she helped her basketball team become conference champions and advance to the Elite 8 in the 2A state playoffs.
