In her Freshman year at UNCP…
Started 54 of the 56 games she appeared in for the Braves. Batted .282 with two doubles and five RBI. Was a perfect 15-for-15 on stolen bases.  Finished third on the team in runs scored with 33. Tallied 26 walks with an on base percentage of .413. Had six multi-hit games and two multi-stolen base games. Recorded a career-high three hits twice on the season, against Glenville State on March 18 and against Augusta State on March 21. Stole a career-high two bases against Chowan on March 29 and again on April 14 against St. Andrews. Had a career-high three walks against California (PA) on March 14.

High School
Attended Hayesville High School in Hayesville, N.C. … earned four letters in softball for the Yellow Jackets … won team MVP honors and the Most Outstanding Offensive Player Award in both her junior and senior seasons … finished fifth in the state playoffs her senior year while batting .605 with an on base percentage of .652 … Hit for a .593 average her junior season with an on base percentage of .630 … played her travel ball for the Georgia Spoilers Gold.

Is the daughter of Lori and Gene Dancer … was born on June 16, 1989 in Gainesville, Fla. … has one brother, Brody (13) … also lettered in basketball and track in high school.
