Courtney Roberts

A four-year player for Division I Campbell University, Courtney Roberts begins her first season as a graduate assistant coach for the UNC Pembroke softball team in 2016-17. 

Roberts appeared in 105 games for the Camels from 2013-16, including 81 starts, going 41-32 with two saves in her four-year career. The Simpsonville, South Carolina native tossed 475.2 innings and 32 complete games, striking out 334 batters in the process. Her 3.59 career ERA was highlighted by a 2,61 clip her sophomore season. As a freshman, Roberts was named to the All-Big South Second Team, All-Big South Freshman Team, NCCSIA First Team and College Sports Madness First Team. 

Roberts volunteered with Miracle League Baseball in Cary and at Campbell softball camps and clinics. 

Roberts graduated from Campbell in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts, Studio Arts with a concentration in education. She was named to the Dean's List as a junior and senior.Â
