Tanner Bullard Headshot

Tanner Bullard

An aspiring softball coach who has already gained a plethora of experience among a heap of volunteer opportunities, Tanner Bullard joined the Braves as a student assistant coach in July 2019.

Bullard, a native of Whiteville, joined the Black & Gold after graduating from Southeastern Community College where he was heavily involved on campus. While at SCC, Bullard served one term as president of the Student Government Association (SGA), while also sitting on the SCC Board of Trustees for one year as well. Amid his busy work in the world of academia, he also volunteered as an assistant coach with the softball program.

A graduate of Whiteville High School, he was a regular volunteer in the athletics department, including stints in support of the basketball and softball teams, while also donating his time as a volunteer coach for the Central Middle School softball program. For all of his efforts, including those as a standout member of Whiteville High School’s marching band, he was the recipient of the principal’s Student Service Award as a senior in 2017.

Bullard completed his undergraduate work in health and physical education (K-12) at UNCP in December 2021, and is pursuing his master’s degree at UNCP as well.
