Prepped at Whiteville High School under coach Olivia Scott … Letterwinner in softball and volleyball … As a junior, she assisted her team to a 20-5 record and tallied a .500 batting average with a pair of homers and seven stolen bases … Named all-conference, all-district, all-state and first team All-Cape Fear Region in her sophomore and junior seasons … In 2014, she garnered the Eastern State Player of the Year and 1A Play of the Year laurels … Assisted the team to a conference championship and state runner-up finish.
