AS A FRESHMAN (2023): Conference Carolinas Presidential Honor Roll … Conference Carolinas Player of the Week … Conference Carolinas All-Defensive Team … Started and played in 50 games during her freshman campaign … Logged a .297 batting average … Finished the season with 46 hits in 155 at bats, 12 doubles, a pair of triples and a trio of home runs … Scored 28 runs and drove in 24 runs … Nearly perfect on the bases going 20-for-21 on stolen base attempts … Matched a school record for stolen bases in a game with four against Davis & Elkins … Logged her first collegiate hit in the season opener against West Virginia State … Hit her first collegiate grand slam against Francis Marion … Did not commit an error in the outfield with 79 putouts and two assists during the season. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Scotland High School for coach Romaine ... Earned all-conference honors as well as the offensive team award ... Also lettered in basketball and volleyball. 

PERSONAL: The daughter of Leslie and Ryan Sheppard ... Has two brothers, Hunter and Chase ... Also has an older sister, Kinsley, who plays softball at UNCP ... Her mom is a graduate of UNC Pembroke ... Ranked 19th out of her 303-member class ... A member of the National Honor Society ... Enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing sports and watching mo.vies .. Lists her mom as her idol ... Just Go With It is her favorite movie ... Steak is her favorite food .... An exercise sport science major at UNCP.
