In her Freshman year at UNCP…
Appeared in seven games for the Braves starting two. Recorded two hits and two RBI with two walks on the season. Batted .250 on the year. Earned a career-high two hits and two RBI against Glenville State on March 18.

 Attended Southern Wayne High School in Dubley, N.C. … was named All District her senior year as the Saints reached the third round of the state playoffs … SWHS went 23-5 on the season in her final year … also played basketball, golf and tennis.
