Prepped at Southern Guilford High School under coach John Funderburk … Letterwinner in softball and volleyball … As a junior, she logged a 4-5 record in the circle with 54 innings pitched and a 3.75 ERA … Helped her team advance to the first round of the state playoffs … Also competed in travel softball for the 18u Knockouts under the direction of coach Ricky Martinez … Posted a 12-11 record in the middle with a 2.25 ERA and 43 strikeouts in her 26 games of action … Named all-conference and MVP in volleyball in 2015.

The daughter of Allison and David Armfield … Ranked 16th out of her 288-member senior class with a 4.6 weighted grade point average … A member of the Century Club, National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society, Future Farmers of America and is a junior marshal … Received the Girl Scout Gold Award in 2015 … Plans on majoring in nursing at UNCP.
