Helped UNCP to earn the 2015 PBC Softball Sportsmanship Award … As an catcher, she played in 39 games with 39 starts for UNCP … Posted a batting average of .238, had with 12 runs, 25 hits, two doubles and two homers … Had 11 RBI on 150 at-bats … Notched a .310 on-base percentage, a slugging percentage of .314 and a fielding percentage of .985 … Recorded 17 putouts and one assists … Totaled 33 total bases and six sacrifice hits … Walked six times during the year … Went 2-for-3 against Concord on February 6, Coker on February 8, Georgia College on March 29, 2-for-2 against Columbus State on April 1 and 2-for-4 against Chowan on March 11 and St. Andrews on March 18 … Had home runs against Lander in the 13-5 victory and again in the 9-1 win over Winston-Salem State … Logged a season best two RBI against St. Andrews … Had six multiple hit games, one multiple RBI game, a three game hitting streak and had a five-game streak of reaching base.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Chatham Central High School under coach Jimmy Rodriguez in her senior year and Mike Langone in her junior campaign … A three-year letterman in softball and two-year letterman in cheerleading … As a senior, she tallied a .489 batting average, .563 on-base percentage, 10 RBI, five doubles, one triple and a trio of home runs … Named all-state, all-district and all-conference in her junior season as she helped the team to place third in state … Played travel softball for coach Eddie Oldham on the Lady Blues team.
