AS A SOPHOMORE (2010-11)
Played in 27 games for the Lady Braves and averaged 11.4 minutes on the court … Tallied 309 minutes for UNCP and finished the season with 82 points to average 3.0 points per game and 2.5 rebounds … She shot 39.1 percent (34-of-87) from the field, while also connecting on 47.8 percent (11-of-23) of her attempts from the free throw line … Was 3-for-7 on 3-point field goal attempts for 42.9 percent shooting … Collected 25 offensive and 43 defensive rebounds for a total 68 rebounds, and finished the season with 30 blocks, nine steals and nine assists … Posted a career-best ten points  against St. Andrews two weeks prior to grabbing a career-high nine rebounds against Newberry … Totaled four blocks against Chowan … Registered six game-highs in blocks along with two in rebounds and steals.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009-10)
Played in 27 games for UNCP … Averaged 2.7 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game, while also tallying 6 steals and 18 blocks … Shot 42.5 percent (31-of-73) from the field, while also connecting on 57.9 percent (11-of-19) of her attempts from the free throw line … Was 1-for-8 on 3-point field goal attempts … Recorded a career-best 9 points against North Georgia and 8 rebounds against Clayton State … Third leader in blocked shots with 0.7 per game.

Redshirted as a freshman Appalachian State.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Wakefield High School as a three-time academic all-conference selection member before transferring to Ravenscroft High School … Under coach Ned Gonet, Knower led the Ravens to a conference championship and third place finish at state … As a senior and team captain for the Ravens earned all-conference laurels and was nominated for McDonalds’ All-American honors … As a reclassified junior, averaged 9.8 points and 8.5 rebounds per game but did not finish the season due to injury … Also played for the Gamer Flames under coach Keith Moore.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Todd and Kris Knower, both who played college ball (Todd at Valley City State and Kris at North Dakota State) … A member of the Ragin Ravens, yearbook staff and school paper at Ravesncroft High School … Won a Los Angeles model search in 2003 and signed a contract with NY Models … Participated in NY Fall Fashion Week in 2005 and has spent three summers in New York pursuing modeling … Plans to major in Biology at UNCP.
