Prepped at Needham Broughton High School under coach Brad McCorkle … A four-year letterman in basketball …  Named the 2009-10 most valuable player and player of the year … As a junior, she averaged 12.4 points, 2.0 steals and six assists per game … Helped lead her team to a 24-6 record … Also played AAU basketball as a member of the Garner Flames for coach Wendell Holmes … Helped the Flames amass a 30-3 record and earn second place at the AAU National DI Championships in 2012 … Earned a spot on the all-star team.
