AS A JUNIOR (2011)
Named to the Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team and PBC Presidential Honor Roll as a Gold Scholar … Opened the season at the Gamecock Invitational a posted a 15th place finish with a time of 23:23.91 in the 5K … Finished 52nd with a time of 28:29.50 in the 6K at the Bridgestone-Pacer Invitational … Competed in the green race of the Charlotte Invitational and she crossed the finish line with her season best time this season with a  time of 23:20.51 for an 81st place finish … Ran her final race of the season at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic and finished the 5K with a time of 24:28.80 for a 218th place finish.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010)
Garnered PBC all-academic team honors as well as a spot on the Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll as a Silver Scholar … Registered a personal best in the 5K at the Augusta State Tri-Meet where she placed 17th with a time of 20:34.9 … Competed at the PBC Championships placing 44th overall with a time of 28:12.0 in the 6K before improving on her time for a personal record at the NCAA Southeast Championships with a time of 26:06.0 for a 112th place finish … Opened the season at the UNCW/Adidas Seahawk Invitational where she recorded a time of 18:04.04 in the 4K for a 57th place finish … Placed 13th at the Braves Cross Country Invitational with a time of 26:54.74 in the 6K … Posted a time of 22:35.2 in the 5K at the Great American Cross Country Invitational to finished 66th overall before running at the Royals Cross Country Challenge where she finished with a time of 21:37.8 in the 5K placing 154th overall.

AS A FRESHMAN (2009)
Posted a 26:24.79 6K in her opening race with the Black and Gold on Sept. 5 at the UNCP Invitational to bring in a 20th place finish, placing second within her UNCP teammates … Competed in the UNCW/Adidas Seahawk Invitational where she brought in a 36th place finish with a 21:25.14 5K … Finished 19th at the ECU Pirates Invitational with a 21:57 5K and 85th at the Great American Cross Country Invitational with a 22:12 5K … Finished in the top-10 (eighth) at the Mount Olive Invitational with a 22:08 5K … Ran a 26:48.02 6K at the PBC Championships on Oct. 24 to place 43rd before finishing up her season at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet with a 27:29 6K, placing 98th.

HIGH SCHOOL
Lettered all four years in cross country under Coach Tom Hess … Named 2007 most valuable player, all-conference runner of the year and all-state … Finished seventh place at the 2007 Jeremy Gaines Invitational with a 5K time of 20:42 … Ran a time of 20:55 for a ninth place finish at the 2007 NCISAA State Championship … Ran off with the 2008 MVP award … Competed in the Red Cross 2008 10K with a time of 46:40 … Also competed with Team Decker coached by Donna McCollum where she ran in the Footlocker South Regional 5K and USATF Regional 5K Meet with times of 21:02 and 21:09, respectively.

The daughter of Robin and Stanley Long … Has two brothers, Abram and Joshua and two sisters, Vanessa and Madison … On the Scholar’s List for three consecutive academic years 2005-08 … Participated in mentoring and was also a member of the yearbook staff … Mother played softball, volleyball, soccer and basketball at Methodist ...
