As A Junior (2009)
UNCP’s number two runner on four occasions during her third season with the Black and Gold … Opened her season at the UNCP Invitational with a 26:37.07 6K for a 21st place finish … Competed in the UNCW/Adidas Seahawk Invitational where she placed 34th overall with a 20:58.79 5K … Finished 18th at the ECU Pirates Invitational with a 21:33 5K on Sept. 19 and 77th at the Great American Cross Country Invitational with a 21:28 5K … At the Mount Olive Invitational 5K placed 3rd overall with a 21:12 … Competed with a 26:03.33 6K at the PBC Championships on Oct. 24th before finishing out her third season at the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet where she placed 76th overall and third among the Lady Braves with a 26:45 6K.

As A Sophomore (2008)
Started off the season at the USC Gamecock Invitational with a 22:10.35, placing 10th in the 5K … Also placed 10th in the UNCP Invitational 5K with a time of 21:01.71 … Placed 47th at the Wingate/NCAA Pre-Regional Invitational 6K with a time of 27:38.29 … Ran a 21:29.28 at the Citadel Invitational 5K to place 36th … Took home the win in a dual meet against Fayetteville State, earning first place with a 5K time of 22:39.00 … Placed 31st at the Trojan Invitational 5K with a time of 21:43.2 … At the Peach Belt Championship meet brought home a 23:22.40 5K for 49th place … Finished the season at NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals with a 102nd place and 27:17 6K.

As A Freshman (2007)
Finished 18th at the Gamecock Invitational with a 5K time of 22:51.73 … Placed 27th at the UNCP Invitational with a time of 19:41.31 in the 4K … Ran 22:21.00 in the Limestone Invitational 5K, finishing 27th … Placed 47th at the Adidas Raleigh Invite with a 24:27.00 5K … Finished 51st at the PBC Cross Country Meet with a time of 24:06.68 … Ran 25:04.00 at the Erskine Invitational 5K to place 54th … Finished up the season, placing 55th at the Citadel Invitational with a 5K time of 23:17.00.

High School
Started running cross country her senior year at Myers Park under Coach Lamont Hayes … Was also a member of the track and field, basketball and softball teams.

Daughter of Jim and Amy Shoemaker … Has two sisters, Clara and Claudia as well as one brother, Charlie … Was the president of her youth group while also being a member of the choir … Is an athletic training major at UNCP.
