HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Lake Norman High School under Coach Kathleen Scott … Four-year letterman in cross country and track … During her senior year, she posted a personal best in the 5K with a time of 20:27 at the 4A West Regional Championships … Placed seventh at the Statesville Invitational in the 5K with a time of 20:47 … Also competed at the Wendy’s Invitational with a time of 20:48 in the 5K … Garnered all-country runner, all-conference runner, regional championship participant, and the “Wildcat Award” in her senior year … In her junior year she was voted team captain as well as awarded all-conference, all-country runner and a regional participant … Set a personal record of 20:42 in the 5K at the 4A West Regional Championships and a 20:51 in the 5K at the Wendy’s Invitational … The team won the 4A Cross Country Conference Title in the 2009 season.
