Prepped at West Forsyth High School under coach Nathan Newsome … A four-year letterman in track and field … Named most improved, most valuable sprinter, all-conference, MVP and sprinter of the year, while also garnering the coaches award … Was all-conference as a senior in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays … Ran her fastest 400m dash in a time of 1:02 as a senior and 1:00.94 as s junior … Was an all-conference runner in the 400m dash, 4x100m, 4x200m and 4x400m relays as a junior … Also competed for Lights Out under coach Antwan Hughes.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Twanda and Eric Montgomery … Has two brothers, Michael and Jaylan, and one sisters, Elyse … A member of the Breast Cancer Club and Multicultural Society Club … A social work major at UNCP.
