HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at KIPP Pride High School under Coach Dobell … Four-year letterman in track and field … Broke the school record in the 100m dash, 200m dash, 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay and 4x400m relay … Named Eastern Regional MVP (2011), Tar-Roanoke Conference MVP (2008, 2010-11), KIPP Pride High MVP (2009-11) Northampton-West High MVP (2008), BT Express Track Club Girls MVP (2006-09) and Athlete of the Year by the Daily Herald (2008, 2010-11) … At the NCHSAA 1A State Track Championships in 2011, she ran a season best time of 12.91 seconds in the 100m prelims to place ninth and a time of 26.49 in the 200m dash prelims to place seventh … Overall placed fifth in the 200m dash at the state meet … Ran a time of 26.64 seconds in the 200m prelims to place second at the NCHSAA 1A East Regional and a time of 12.94 seconds in the 100m dash for a third place finish … Lead her team to become conference champions in 2011 and 2010 … As a junior, placed third in the state championship meet in the 4x100m relay.
