AS A JUNIOR (2015)
All-PBC in the shot put … USTFCCCA All-Region in the shot put … PBC Presidential Honor Roll … Became event champion in the shot put at the PBC Championships with a throw of 13.39m along with a fifth place finish in the discus (36.19m) and seventh place finish in the hammer throw (38.00m) to score points for the Braves … Clinched a personal best mark in the shot put at the VertKlasse Meeting with a distance of 13.50m, while also finishing 16th in the hammer throw (38.83m) and logging a season best distance of 36.32m in the discus for a 13th place finish … Registered another personal best throw in the hammer throw at the Aggie Invitational with a distance of 39.47m for a 10th place finish, while also becoming runner-up in the shot put (13.40m) and 10th in the discus (34.10m) … Competed in the discus throw (6th, 32.49m), hammer throw (17th, 34.59m) and the shot put (3rd, 12.37m) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational … Posted a third place finish at the App State Outdoor Open with a distance of 13.09m along with an 11th place finish (12.57m) in the indoor shot put at the Hilton Garden Invitational … At the JDL College Kick-Off Classic, she registered season best marks in the shot put with a runner-up finish (13.32m) and ninth place finish in the weight throw (13.04m) … Also competed at the UCS Invitational in the shot put (4th, 13.15m) and weight throw (13th, 12.24m).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)
Named all-PBC in the shot put and to the USTFCCCA all-region team in the shot put and discus throw, as well as being a member of the PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... Won the shot put with a distance of 13.03m for a personal best throw at the PBC Championships, as well as place fifth in the hammer throw with a personal best mark of 37.07m to score 14 points for the Braves … Collected a third place finish in the discus throw at the CCU Chanticleer Classic with a personal best throw of 38.43m, while also finishing third in the hammer throw with a distance of 35.58m and third in the shot put with a mark of 12.72m … Won the shot put at the Wofford College Terrier Relays with a mark of 12.58m, while also competing in the discus throw (9th, 34.07m), the hammer throw (15th, 34.51m) and the javelin throw (25th, 21.54m) … At the CCU Shamrock Invitational, she 19th in the discus throw (37.70m), 48th in the hammer throw (30.91m) and 20th in the shot put (12.45m) … Also competed in the discus throw (15th, 34.24m), the hammer throw (23rd, 21.54m) and the shot put (7th, 12.56m) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational … Notched a 16th place finish in the weight throw (12.74m) and a sixth place finish in the shot put (12.31m) at the Tar Heel Open … Captured 6-of-7 top-10 finishes in the shot put.

BEFORE UNCP
Attended Mount Olive University from 2012-13 and competed in track and field under coach Matt Van Lierop and assistant coach MedaLana Smith … At the indoor Conference Carolinas meet, she placed first in the shot put with a throw of 40 feet, 8 inches … Also finished second in the shot put with a throw of 41 feet, 6 inches at the Conference Carolinas outdoor championships.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Lumberton High School under coach Danny Graham … A four-year letterman in track and field, cross country and soccer, as well as a three-year letterman in basketball … As a senior, she placed first in the shot put and first in the discus to earn all-region honors at the NCHSAA 4A East Regional Championships … Finished third in the shot put at the NCHSAA 4A State Championships … In her junior campaign, she placed third in the shot put and sixth in the discus at the regional meet to earn all-conference laurels, as well as ninth in the shot put at the state meet … Also garnered all-conference honors in basketball and soccer.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Joyce and James Brown … Has one brother, Brandon … Her father James was a sprinter at UNCP from 1979-83, and all-American in 1982 and 1983, on the track and field team … Graduated with a 3.8 cumulative grade point average … Named the Mountainair Scholar Athlete of the Month for Robeson County … A member of the beta club and National Honor Society … A biology and pre-physical therapy major at UNCP.
