ALSO RUNS CROSS COUNTRY FOR THE BRAVES

AS A SOPHOMORE (2015)
Clinched an eighth place finish in the 800m run with a personal best time of 2:19.29 at the PBC Championships, while also logging a 12th place finish in the 1500m run with a personal best time of 4:55.34 to score points for the Braves … Posted an 11th place finish in the 800m run at the Aggie Invitational with a time of 2:29.21 … At the VertKlasse Meeting, she competed in the 800m run (19th, 2:26.38) and the 1500m run (48th, 5:14.14) … Notched a personal best time of 5:43.27 in the indoor 1 Mile Run at the Hilton Garden Invitational (61st) and a personal best time in the indoor 800m run (63rd, 2:31.15) … Was the third leg of the 4x400m relay at the PBC Championship that finished seventh with a season best time of 4:08.03 and second leg at the VertKlasse Meeting (13th, 4:20.27).

AS A FRESHMAN (2014)
Ran a personal best time in the 800m run at the PBC Championships for a 10th place finish with a time of 2:22.90, as well as a seventh place finish in the 1500m run (5:00.21) to score two points for the Braves … Notched a personal best in the 400m dash (14th, 1:01.91) at the Wofford College Terrier Relays and in the 1500m run (96th, 4:59.81) at the Raleigh Relays … At the UNCW Seahawk Invitational, she ran the 800m run (18th, 2:28.79) and the 1500m run (17th, 5:10.27) … Placed third and fourth in the 800m run at the CCU Chanticleer Classic (2:24.14) and the CCU Shamrock Invitational (2:25.01) … Took home a sixth place finish at the USC Gamecock Invitational with a time of 2:32.53 in the 800m run … At the Tar Heel Open, she competed in the 800m run (14th, 2:34.62) and the 1 Mile Run (20th, 5:50.50) … Was the lead leg of the 4x400m relay that placed seventh with a season best time of 4:10.61 at the PBC Championships , the lead leg of the 4x400m relay (4:11.90) that finished second at the CCU Chanticleer Classic, the final leg of the 4x400m relay (18th, 4:15.49) at the CCU Shamrock Invitational, the third leg of the 4x400m relay (12th, 4:22.38) at the Tar Heel Open, second leg of the 4x400m relay (11th, 4:36.92) and the second leg of the 4x800m relay (9th, 10:12.42) at the UNCW Seahawk Invitational , and the lead leg of the distance medley (5th, 13:28.59) at the Wofford College Terrier Relays.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Douglas Byrd High School under coach Robert Freeman … Lettered in cross country and track and field … A two-time all-conference team member and MVP on the cross country team … As a senior, she garnered the Coach’s Award and was a part of the track team that went to the state championship for all four years … Ran a time of 2:24.21 in the 800m and 20:52.00 in the 5000m run for her personal bests.

PERSONAL
The daughter of Tonya and David Carrington … Has four sisters, Tatyanna, Haley, Halle and K’Lynn … Ranked 75th out of her 289-member senior class with a 3.33 cumulative grade point average … A member of the American Legion Award ROTC Program, student government, JROTC, a student mentor and won the Superior Cadet Award … Undecided in her course of study at UNCP.
