AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18): Redshirted … Competed in four tournaments as an unattached wrestler … Posted a 3-5 (.375) record, all in tournament action … Went 0-1 against NCAA Division II competition … Earned a trip to the podium with a runner-up finish at the UCF Classic … Earned first victory with a 5-3 decision over Lindsey Wilson’s Luis Puig … went 2-1 at the UCF Classic, including a 6-3 decision over South Florida’s Frantz Adeclat.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Sanderson High School … Registered a 10-1 (.909) mark during junior campaign … Also lettered in lacrosse, football and track & field for the Spartans.
 
PERSONAL: The son of Sheniqua Davenport and Curtis Brown … Has two sisters, Brittany and Jada, and one brother, Lukas … Maintained a 3.8 cumulative grade point average at Sanderson High School … A computer science major at UNCP.
