AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014-15): Compiled a 7-7 (.500) record – all in tournament settings … Tallied three victories by pin and three others by major decision … Went 2-4 against NCAA Division II competition … Placed third at the Panther Open … Split four matches at The Citadel Open and the Pembroke Classic … Tallied a 2-1 record at the Panther Open.

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Redshirted … Competed in three tournaments as an unattached wrestler … Went 1-6 (.143), including a win by major decision … Went 1-2 at the Pembroke Classic, including a 9-0 major decision over Devon Goings of Cumberlands … Went 0-2 at The Citadel Open and the Newberry Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Pamlico High School for coach Kevin Knot … Registered a 33-6 record as a senior en route to capturing the region title and a runner-up finish in the state tournament … Turned in a 30-5 record as a junior, while also capturing the region championship and placing third at the state tournament … Also lettered in football and track & field for the Hurricanes.

PERSONAL: The son of Linda and Mark Hoff … Has three sisters, Shanna, Carly and Sam … Maintained a 3.5 cumulative grade point average at Pamlico High School and graduated in the top half of his 99-member senior class … A business major at UNCP.
