AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2019-20): Mountain East Conference champion … All-Mountain East Conference … Tallied a 21-12 (.636) record, including an 11-5 clip in dual meets … Registered four bonus-point victories, including a pair of technical falls and two wins via major decision … Made three trips to the podium, including a runner-up showing at the Pembroke Classic … Went 3-1 at the Georgia Open, including a 2-1 overtime win over Life’s Michael Gibson in the fifth place bout … Posted a 3-2 decision over Jacob Freeman (unattached) earlier in the day to record his first collegiate victory … Won first three matches at the Pembroke Classic, but fell to North Carolina’s Joseph Mazzara in the title bout.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Clear Falls High School for coach Eric Thompson … Registered a 42-2 (.955) mark as a senior and a runner-up finish at the state tournament … Tallied a 36-6 (.857) clip as a junior and a fourth place finish at the state tournament … Was also a member of the Freestyle/Greco Texas national team for four years.
