HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at South Stokes High School for coach Tim Lawson … Registered a 48-1 (.980) record as a prep senior, as well as the conference, region and state championships … Earned Northwest 1A Wrestler of the Year laurels … Tallied a 39-15 (.722) clip as a junior, while also earning all-conference and all-region laurels … A two-time all-conference standout on the football team and a three-time all-conference performer in track & field for the Sauras.
