AS A REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2015-16): Compiled a 2-8 (.200) record, all in tournament settings … Tallied one win via pin and another by major decision … Went 0-2 against NCAA Division II competition … Picked up first official collegiate victory with a 16-6 major decision over George Mason’s Brendan May at the Pembroke Classic … Also recorded a first-period pin over East Tennessee State’s Chris GeFellers at the King Open.

AS A FRESHMAN (2014-15): PBC Presidential Honor Roll ... Redshirted … Competed in four tournaments as an unattached wrestler … Compiled a 1-8 (.111) record – all in tournament settings … Tallied one pin … Went 0-1 against NCAA Division II competition … Picked up his first collegiate victory with a second-period pin of Ferrum’s Gerald Watkins at the Panther Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lumberton High School for coach Jamie Bell … Turned in a 45-6 record as a prep senior and earned all-conference recognition … Captured championship honors at the region tournament en route to qualifying for the state tournament … Name team and county wrestler of the year … Registered a 19-10 clip as a junior, while also earning all-conference nods … Qualified for the region tournament.
