HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at West Iredell High School for coach George Sattos … Competed with Triple Threat Wrestling club team for coach Tommy Pavia … Compiled a 24-8 (.750) record as a prep senior … Qualified for the region tournament, but did not attend due to an injury … Named team’s most outstanding wrestler … Registered a 20-11 (.645) mark as a junior … Qualified for region tournament … Earned team’s Warrior Award … Finished runner-up at the 2012 AAU state tournament while competing with Triple Threat Wrestling … Also lettered in cross country and football for the Warriors … Earned two Warrior Awards in cross country.
