HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Parkland High School for coach Maurice Atwood … Rattled off a perfect 55-0 record as a prep senior en route to both the state and senior national championships … Also helped lead the Mustangs to the state championship … Is only the fifth North Carolina wrestler to claim senior national championship … Earned a regional title as a junior, while Parkland went on to claim the team state championship.
