HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Southern Vance High School for coach Charlie Carroll … Also competed with the Arrichion club organization and coach Ty Reynolds … Registered a 15-2 record (.882) as a prep senior … Churned out a perfect 15-0 mark as a junior … Captured the UNCP freestyle championship on two occasions while competing with Arrichion … Also lettered in football with the Wolves.

PERSONAL: The son of Yolanda and George Spruill … Has a younger brother, Nicholas, and a younger sister, Amaya … Maintained a 3.3 cumulative grade point average and graduated in the top 25 percent of his 54-member senior class … A psychology major at UNCP.
