HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Lumberton High School for coach Jamie Bell … Logged a 41-2 mark as a prep senior, as well as a fifth-place finish at the state tournament … Also picked up conference and region championships to culminate last two seasons at the prep level … Amassed a 21-3 clip as a junior … Also played football for the Pirates … Ranked first among state defensive ends in tackles, while also being named team MVP.
