AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18): Redshirted … Competed in three tournaments as an unattached wrestler … Compiled a 9-3 (.750) record, all in tournament action … Registered five bonus-point victories, including two pins, a pair of tech falls and one major decision … Went 3-1 against NCAA Division II competition … Earned two trips to the podium, including an event championship at the UCF Classic … Also placed runner-up at the Georgia Open … Picked up first collegiate victory with a pin of Aaron Mason at the Pembroke Classic … Registered a 4-1 clip at the Georgia Open … Went unbeaten in three matches at the UCF Classic.
