HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Jacksonville High School for coach Brandon Akins … Compiled a 52-3 (.945) record as a prep senior en route to his second-straight state title … Also grabbed his second-straight conference and regional titles along the way … Helped lead Cardinals to a runner-up finish at the region tournament … Decorated with underclassman of the year laurels as a junior, while also taking home the Roy Heaverly award … Also lettered in football for Jacksonville.
